Beautiful Brands International (BBI) announced that it secured an agreement between Top That! Pizza (TTP) and Mohammed Obaid Al Neaimi to develop the brand in the Middle East. Al Neaimi will be responsible for the concept’s expansion strategy within the Gulf countries, as well as entry of the franchise into new regional markets.

“I believe Mohammed will be a terrific addition to the TTP franchise team as we continue to pursue an aggressive growth strategy in the Middle East,” says David Rutkauskas, BBI founder and CEO. “We look forward to debuting the Top That! Pizza brand and growing a concept that embodies our focus on customer choice and value.”

Obaid Al Neaimi says he plans to open 20 locations throughout the Gulf countries, beginning in the United Arab Emirates next year.

“I’m thrilled to be working with BBI and TTP in the Gulf regions and helping build this tremendous brand globally,” says Obaid Al Neaimi. “There’s no question the Middle East is one of the world’s most promising markets and a perfect fit for the innovations of this remarkable concept. I believe we have a golden opportunity to capture a new category and make Top That! Pizza a premier brand in the region.”

Top That! Pizza is the first to define the category of custom, personal-sized pizzas and has become a ground breaker in the fast-casual pizza segment. The concept lets guests customize their pizzas, just like they would in a sub sandwich shop, choosing from a wide selection of crusts, sauces, vegetables, meats, and cheeses—all for one value price. Guests then receive their hot, fresh pizzas in less than three minutes after they are ordered, either to dine-in or take out.

The concept was developed and is owned by Jeff and Lori Walderich, who share over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

“We’re excited to introduce an entirely new way to enjoy pizza to the world,” Lori Walderich says. “For the first time, we are offering a way for people to get their own pizza exactly the way they want it, fast and affordably. It’s ‘pies without compromise.’ ”

The first Top That! Pizza location opened in Tulsa, Oklahoma, just seven months ago, and two more are under construction, slated to open this year. The brand currently utilizes BBI's organizational and support system to market TTP franchises in national and international markets. BBI's support includes legal, franchise sales, and other aspects of franchise development.

“There’s really no limit to Top That! Pizza’s growth and viability as a global brand,” Rutkauskas says. “Our passion is working with brands that are new and different, that are trendsetting in their categories. That’s really what sets us apart from our competitors and makes us so appealing to franchisees looking for a premium opportunity. We are thrilled to be working with Top That! Pizza.”
