Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint is celebrating its fifth year in business with plans to build upon its commitment to providing communities nationwide with a new pizza experience.
“As the leader in fast-casual pizza, we’re proud of the success Uncle Maddio’s has seen in five years,” says founder Matt Andrew. “Pizza is a classic favorite, and we’ve found an innovative way to upgrade the experience by allowing customers to enjoy high-quality ingredients, a variety of options in a casual environment.”
The first Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint opened in 2009 in Atlanta. Two years later the company opened its first franchise locations in Woodstock, Georgia, and Louisville, Kentucky. To date, pizza lovers in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee can access the brand’s fresh pies made in less than six minutes.
“We are expecting a year of growth and plan to open 35 new units in addition to the 165 locations we have in development, including new market openings in Texas, Alabama, and Colorado,” Andrew says.
Having served as cofounder and president of fast-casual Mexican restaurant Moe’s Southwest Grill, Andrew has had a long history in the space and understands the expectations of today’s customer.
Uncle Maddio’s guests can choose from three crusts and nearly 50 toppings, amounting to more than five million various combinations. The menu also provides options to meet varying dietary needs, including gluten free, organic, and hormone free. Nine-inch individual pizzas are made-from-scratch and served in six minutes for $6.99.
The brand has also committed to a “served with love” mantra. The theme extends into its community and charitable initiatives. For example, Uncle Maddio’s created a “Real Hope Signature Pizza,” benefiting pediatric research at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Giving back to the community is an important mission for each location.
As part of its fifth anniversary, the first Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint, at 3027 North Druid Hills Road in Atlanta, is offering a special birthday deal. Each Monday, fans can receive a 9-inch, three-topping pizza and small soft drink for $5.55.
