Villa Italian Kitchen Offers Taste of Summer with LTOs

Villa Italian Kitchen, which opened its first pizzeria in New York City next to the Ed Sullivan Theater in 1964 and is celebrating 50 years in business this year, introduced two Summertime Chicken Barbeque menu items for a limited time. Villa’s BBQ Chicken Pizza and BBQ Chicken Stromboli join the menu at participating locations. Another exciting addition, guests who visit Villa Italian Kitchen can now supercharge their Mountain Dew with pomegranate or apple flavorings to create Extreme Pomegranate and Electric Apple. Both beverages can be ordered at any participating Villa location.

Mountain Dew is a citrus-flavored beverage, and now with the addition of pomegranate or apple flavorings at Villa Italian Kitchen, becomes all different: an Extreme Dew.

“Our new BBQ Chicken Pizza and Stromboli are both so delicious, you won’t know which to order,” says Paula Doyle, vice president of marketing at Villa. “And the new supercharged Mountain Dew beverages Extreme Pomegranate and Electric Apple are right in time for great summer thirst quenchers!”

Villa Italian Kitchen is known for its Neapolitan and pan pizzas. Now, guests can try Villa’s newest summertime favorite, BBQ Chicken Pizza, with flavors of tangy barbecue sauce and red onions with chicken on top.

Villa’s Stromboli is a favorite menu item and is now made with barbecue chicken for a taste of summer.  Stromboli is a form of Italian pizza imbottito, or stuffed pizza, in which various fillings are sandwiched between layers of dough and baked in an oven until golden brown.
