Mobile-based store-card and payment solutions company Virtual Next has launched a digital payment and loyalty-card program with American burrito chain Currito.

The digital payment and loyalty program enables customers to complete transactions more quickly by using their smartphones without having to first download an app. Virtual Next’s technology also provides customers with the ability to pay, earn, and redeem rewards all with one simple scan.

“This will be a game changer for us in terms of ease of payment and customer service,” says John Lanni, COO of Currito. The Cincinnati-based chain is offering $10 to any customers who sign up with the loyalty-card program. Customers will receive one point for every dollar spent in the store, and eight dollars for every 80 points.

“We are excited to partner with Currito and provide their customers with a faster, easier, and more rewarding experience with our mobile store card program,” says Bijan Shahrokhi, CEO of Virtual Next.

Virtual Next research has proven that smartphone apps are not effective for quick service chains so instead, the company uses the smartphone’s existing digital wallets such as iPhone PassBook and Google Wallet to offer a branded loyalty program, thus resulting in far more effective results in terms of customer adoption and service. Virtual Next enables restaurant chains with any Point of Sale system to offer a mobile loyalty, payment, and couponing program to their customers.
