Quality Restaurant Ventures, Inc., franchisor of Sobik's Subs sandwich restaurants, and Head West Enterprises, franchisor of Westshore Pizza, announced the signing of an agreement July 6 with the Southvest Company to co-develop a minimum of 50 Westshore Pizza restaurants over the next 90 months in the Miami area. Paul Samson, Managing Member of Head West Enterprises, LLC, says he was pleased to sign an agreement with Southvest. "I am excited about this new adventure into the Miami marketplace," Samson says. "Southvest knows the area well and we should be set for success." The first training and development store will open August 1 in Miami. Westshore Pizza, a eat-in/take-out that features Philadelphia-style pizza, grinders, and hoagies as well as other fare, currently has 48 stores that are predominantly located in the greater Tampa Bay market. Westshore Pizza has plans for continued expansion throughout Florida.
