Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) will host an industry panel entitled “Lessons Learned Along the Road to Success” at the Atlanta Foodservice Expo. The panel will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center from 2 to 3 p.m. on October 21.

WFF’s panel of inspirational women leaders will feature Nancy Caldarola, PhD, RD, a consultant for Concept Associates; Alicia McCabe, senior category director of food packaging for Georgia-Pacific Professional Food Services Solutions; and Brianna E. Williams, of counsel for StokesWagner.

Caldarola, the panel’s moderator, is a Georgia State University Hospitality School Executive In Residence who has been involved with the hospitality industry for more than 40 years. She has been credited with revamping management and employee training at several restaurant groups, creating development program for highly promotable senior managers, implementing mentoring programs, and creating a franchisee business development workshop for aspiring franchisee quick-service business owners from minority organizations.

The panelists will discuss their roles in their growing organizations and share tips for success such as mistakes to avoid in the workplace, how to confront workplace issues, practical advice for personal struggles, and knowing how to pick your battles.

The Atlanta Foodservice Expo—which runs between October 20 and 22—is the only event in Georgia and the Southeast to bring together all sectors of the restaurant, foodservice, and hospitality industry. The Expo is geared towards individuals interested in the keys behind great leadership, enhancing leadership competencies of awareness and insight, and making strategic connections with WFF industry leaders.
