Whataburger President Carries Olympic Torch

Whataburger was part of the symbolic Olympic torch run this Tuesday in Austin when Whataburger president and COO Tim Taft carried the torch for part of its long journey to Salt Lake City.

Taft, a former University of Texas decathlete and team captain, is one of the torch carriers who will did his part, along with athlete Lance Armstrong, to carry the flame through Austin.

"I'm extremely proud to represent my country, Corpus Christi and Whataburger—particularly this year,” said Taft. "It will be an honor every step of the way."
