Which Wich Crowns the Best Flagged Bags
During the Fourth of July promotion, Which Wich encouraged guests to show their support for U.S. troops by drawing patriotic doodles on the backs of their sandwich bags using red and blue Sharpies. Those looking to score a $500 gift card took pictures of their bags, uploaded the pictures to the Which Which wall on Facebook, and tagged themselves to their photos. The photos with the most "likes" emerged victorious.
At the end of the promotion, Which Wich collected hundreds of "flagged" bags from stores across the country and filled them with cookies, brownies, and Wich Krispies to create care packages for the troops. Also included in each bag was a letter from founder and chief vibe officer Jeff Sinelli, thanking the soldiers for their service. To determine which servicemen and women would receive care packages, Which Wich solicited addresses from Facebook fans who have loved ones serving overseas.
"We were blown away by the quality and creativity of the Flag Your Bag submissions," Sinelli says. "But perhaps more important, we were humbled by the sincere outpouring of gratitude for our troops, as expressed in the hundreds of patriotic bags we collected. We are honored to be a part of that."
