The new Wide World of Jack bendable figures debut at Jack in the Box restaurants on Monday, Sept. 18. This fifth release in a line of collectible figurines offered by Jack in the Box, features six figures—Astronaut Jack, Judo Jack, Mountaineer Jack, Surfer Jack, Jack on a Dogsled and Hockey Jack. The figures will be available with the purchase of a kid’s meal or sold separately for 99 cents at all participating Jack in the Box restaurants.

Since 1995, more than 17 million premiums bearing Jack’s likeness, including bendable figures and antenna balls, have been sold, proving that Jack has struck a cord with his customers and collectors.

Jack’s persona is so popular, a framed picture of Jack antenna balls, reproduced from a television commercial, recently sold for $710 on eBay’s Web site. The buyer was a big Jack fan, even though she lived in a state—Georgia—in which no Jack in the Box restaurants operate.

The Wide World of Jack bendable figures will be available for a limited time only. Jack in the Box Inc. (NYSE: JBX) operates and franchises more than 1,600 quick-serve restaurants and has systemwide sales of nearly $2 billion. With headquarters in San Diego, the company has approximately 42,000 employees and operates in 15 states.
