Wienerschnitzel Gives Away Food, Fiats

Wienerschnitzel, the world’s largest hot dog chain, continues its 50th anniversary celebration by rolling out the grand prix of promotions—the “Teenie-Wienie 50 Cars & Free Food for All Instant Win Game,” where every participant wins free food and a chance to win one of 50 Fiat 500’s.

Starting July 4, every 30-oz. beverage purchased at any Wienerschnitzel location will feature a double-sided game piece that guests simply peel off to reveal both an instant-win food prize and an online game code. 

In addition to the instant win prize, guests can then go online to to play “Drop In To Win” for a second chance to win a new Fiat 500.

“Our customers have been loyal fans since 1961 and we couldn’t be more thrilled to offer this great on-the-cup game that guarantees every large drink is a winner,” says Tom Amberger, vice president of marketing for Wienerschnitzel. “It’s our way of saying thanks for 50 fantastic years!

 “The Fiat 500 was chosen because it’s a sleek, retro-style car that was first introduced around the same time as Wienerschnitzel,” Amberger says. “Not to mention, it’s a good looking car that even has an antenna to show off the Golden Wienie Antenna Topper!”

The contest begins on July 4 and runs until supplies last. Game pieces revealing free menu items are redeemable at participating locations through Dec.15, 2011.
