Wienerschnitzel has been selected to serve as the official hot dog of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim bringing its traditional all-American hot dogs to thousands of Mighty Ducks fans at the Arrowhead Pond. As part of a three-year agreement, regular and large sized Wienerschnitzel hot dogs will be served throughout the arena, beginning on October 1.

Wienerschnitzel hot dogs are also sold at Edison International Field, home of the Anaheim Angels, and Arco Arena, home of the Sacramento Kings.

"We're proud to team up with such a great organization as the Mighty Ducks," said Tom Amberger, director of marketing for Wienerschnitzel. "This new partnership is part of Wienerschnitzel's continuing efforts to increase brand awareness by seeking non-traditional venues to sell and promote its hot dogs."

Wienerschnitzel is celebrating its association with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim with radio and television spots along with concession stand signage. The company was founded by John Galardi in 1961 with a single hot dog stand in Wilmington, California.

Wienerschnitzel serves more than 84 million hot dogs annually. Based in Newport Beach, Calif., Wienerschnitzel has more than 300 stores in 10 states.
