Wienerschnitzel Rolls Out Der Chicken Dippers

Wienerschnitzel, the world’s largest hot dog chain, is mixing things up with the introduction of its newest menu item, Der Chicken Dippers.

On the menu beginning August 27, the bite-sized crispy chicken is served with a choice of three savory dipping sauces: Sweet and Tangy BBQ, Spicy Buffalo Wing, and Creamy Ranch.

Wienerschnitzel’s new 100 percent all-white meat boneless Der Chicken Dippers are lightly breaded and cooked-to-order so they’re served hot and fresh every time.

Guests can enjoy satisfying portions ranging from one-third pound to a full pound that’s great for sharing with friends, serving at a party, or taking home for the whole family to enjoy.

“We’ve always strived to give our customers variety paired with unique everyday value, and adding Der Chicken Dippers with tasty dipping sauces gives loyal fans yet another fun-to-eat menu option,” says Tom Amberger, vice president of marketing for Wienerschnitzel. “Der Chicken Dippers did extremely well in our test markets, so we're excited to make this menu item available to all of our guests.”

Der Chicken Dippers are available at all Wienerschnitzel locations beginning August 27. 

Recommended prices start at $3.59 for one-third pound and may vary by location. 

The youngsters can also get in on the action with the Der Chicken Dippers Kid’s Meal that consists of three boneless chicken pieces, regular fries, and a kid’s drink, plus a “Go Green” toy that promotes the importance of recycling.

The Der Chicken Dippers rollout will be supported with direct mail, online marketing, social media, and in-store point-of-purchase materials.
