Windjammer Capital Investors, a national private investment firm, has acquired Component Hardware, a supplier of hardware components and plumbing products for the foodservice industry and other specialized equipment markets.

Windjammer partnered with management to acquire the business from Liberty Partners. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Senior management will continue with the company.

"With the growth and customer expansion we have achieved over the past couple years, Windjammer is exactly the type of partner we were searching for to help take us to the next level," says Harry Franze, CEO of Company Hardware. "The resources that Windjammer provides, its access to capital markets, and its track record of working with management teams will definitely help us execute our plan for accelerated growth."

Component Hardware is headquartered in Lakewood, New Jersey, with additional facilities located in the Netherlands, Taiwan, and China. The company services original equipment manufacturers in diverse markets, including foodservice and other specification-driven industries, as well as foodservice equipment dealers and service agencies.

By offering industry-leading service levels, unparalleled engineering support, and a product line of more than 10,000 SKUs, Component Hardware has become a key strategic partner to its customers by driving design innovation and providing turnkey supply chain management solutions.

"Component Hardware provides significant value to its customers and we are excited to partner with management to support the company's growth initiatives, which include both domestic and international organic opportunities, as well as strategic acquisitions," says Greg Bondick, managing director at Windjammer, who led the transaction for the firm.
