Wingstop Restaurants has opened its 200th store. The milestone occurred at 5045 West Tropicana, Ste. 110 (at Decatur) in Las Vegas.

The 200th Wingstop, which opened on Oct. 15, is owned by Lance Graulich, president of Lord of the Wings LLC, who has over 20 years experience in the restaurant industry. Graulich’s experience includes being director of operations for a Krispy Kreme Doughnuts franchise as well as director of operations for Fatburger Corporation.

“Hitting the 200-store mark is exciting, made even more so given the fact that Wingstop continues to grow and our stores continue do very well; comp store sales year-to-date are in the high teens and we’re ranked the 4th sales-growth chain in the nation,” said James Flynn, Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. chief exec. “I also look forward to watching Mr. Graulich grow the brand in the Las Vegas market. He’s the man to do it.”

The Wingstop chain offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings. Wingstop features eight proprietary wing flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian Barbeque and Garlic Parmesan. Customers also choose from a variety of 28 domestic and imported beers, wine coolers, soft drinks and homemade side dishes: fresh-cut seasoned fries, bourbon baked beans, pearl potato salad, vegetable sticks, rolls and assorted dipping sauces.
