Traditionally, Super Bowl nets Wingstop its biggest sales day of the year, and this year will be no exception. The chicken-wing-only chain estimates that more than 3.5 million chicken wings will be sold systemwide at their more than 400 locations in 28 states on the day of the big game.

Since Wingstop's inception 15 years ago, Super Bowl Sunday has consistently netted the chain its largest gross sales day each year, each year topping the year prior. Because the volume has increased from year to year, the chain is reminding chicken wing fans to place their orders early.

"Wingstop is to Super Bowl what chocolates are to Valentine's Day," says James Flynn, Wingstop CEO.

Orders can be placed in advance at www.wingstop.com.
