Woody’s Bar-B-Q is firing up the grill for two new limited-time menu offers. Participating restaurants will “Double Dog Dare” their customers to try a duo of hot dogs beginning May 1.
The two newest menu items include the Sloppy Dog, which features Cheddar Jack cheese, Sloppy Woody barbecue pork in Woody’s secret sauce, cole slaw, and fried onion straws, and the Salty Dog, which features a beef hot dog wrapped it in bacon, and topped with diced BBQ Pork, a triple layer of Cheddar Jack cheese, pickles, and Woody’s own Sweet Bar-B-Q sauce.
“The humble hot dog is experiencing a renaissance of sorts—thanks in large part to the food truck craze and imaginative chef-inspired recipes, like ours,” says Tammy Poudrier, director of marketing for Woody’s Bar-B-Q. “We are really excited to ‘unleash’ these two new dogs at our restaurants nationwide and expect the response to be highly favorable. If the response is favorable enough, we may even consider making them a regular addition to the family.”
The Double Dog Dare promotion runs May 1 through July 18, 2014.
