WOW Café and Wingery, a New Orleans–inspired family restaurant, continues its growth momentum with the addition of several WOW Café locations throughout the U.S. A contributing factor is WOW Café’s relationship with Sodexo, a food and facilities management company, to expand its restaurant portfolio into colleges and universities across the U.S. In 2009 alone, WOW Café and Sodexo collaborated to open eight campus locations with additional locations at Xavier University and Texas Southern University to open by the end of the year.

To date, WOW Café has 53 locations in 21 states and four more under construction. Out of the 53 locations, 16 are on college or university campuses. As a result of partnering with WOW Café and Wingery, Sodexo has opened the following WOW Café locations on campuses across the country this year: Franklin and Marshall (Lancaster, Pennsylvania); Loyola College (Baltimore); Bellarmine University (Louisville, Kentucky); Emory University (Atlanta); Jacksonville State University (Jacksonville, Alabama); Marquette University (Milwaukee); St. Michael’s College (Colchester, Vermont); and Tulane University (New Orleans).

In addition to these campus locations, WOW Café has opened 11 locations so far in 2009, with its newest location in Warner Robins, Georgia. The restaurant expects to grow to 75 units across the country in 2010.

“WOW Café and Wingery is excited to bring this concept into colleges and universities and provide students and staff the opportunity to experience the WOW Café brand right on campus,” says Reid Nolte, marketing director for WOW Café and Wingery. “We are excited about the brand growth and look forward to the endless possibilities that 2010 brings.”
