Yancey Marketing, a digital advertising agency, has launched a regional McDonald’s mobile marketing campaign to increase trial of the new McWrap product line at over 800+ participating restaurants in Florida and southern Georgia.
Individual co-ops participating include South Florida/Miami, Palm Beach, SWFlorida/Ft Myers, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and NWFlorida/Panama City Beach.
The campaign includes use of a unique mobile redemption system called The Visual Voucher which uses a consumer’s mobile device to validate and void a high value mobile offer. The concept is called On-Device Verification and is patent-pending and exclusive to Yancey Marketing and their global provider MobileX of Toronto, Canada.
Consumers can receive the offer from digital and traditional advertising assets by sending a text message to request an offer. Offers are also available via web browsing and social media.
Real-time reporting is being used to track the campaign’s conversion rates.
