YoCream Teams with Jack in the Box

YoCream International Inc. (YOCM) will supply the yogurt base used in the Real Fruit Smoothies offered at Jack in the Box restaurants. Jack in the Box introduced Real Fruit Smoothies in select markets in April, and the new beverages are now available systemwide.

YoCream worked closely with Jack in the Box on development of this unique product, which is being well received in the market. "The yogurt base was developed to properly freeze in special equipment and then be mixed with fruit and fruit juices," notes Tyler Bargas, director of sales at YoCream. "We are delighted to be working with one of the industry's leaders to bring premium beverages to the quick-service market."

In August, Jack in the Box presented YoCream with the Vendor Service Award for consistently demonstrating commitment to the Jack in the Box values: Customer Service, Product Quality and Service Reliability.
