Yumz Throws Toga Party to Introduce New Greek Offering

Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt, a self-serve franchise, announced the addition of Greek frozen yogurt to its stores. To kick off its Greek frozen yogurt launch, an in-store toga party will take place at all of Yumz locations Friday, April 25 through Sunday April 27, 2014. Any customer who visits a Yumz store wearing a toga over their clothing will receive 20 percent off their purchase.

As part of the “Eat Healthy, Eat Yumz” campaign, the frozen-yogurt innovator is giving customers another healthy option with Greek frozen yogurt, featuring health benefits such as seven percent protein in every serving. That’s over three times the amount found in their regular frozen yogurt, plus the Greek version has zero fat and is loaded with probiotics.

“Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt is always striving to offer the most unique variety of healthy frozen yogurt in our stores,” says Matt Thelander, co-founder of Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt. “We are excited to bring Greek fro-yo to our flavor menu because it supports our mission to provide delicious frozen yogurt for a healthy lifestyle.”

Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt is known for its rotating selection of more than 55 frozen yogurt flavors that are all fat free, low in calories, and full of probiotics. The stores feature more than 75 toppings such as: fruits, nuts, sauces, and candy. Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt stores are located in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Florida, with new stores opening in Nevada and Wisconsin in May. The company also offers its frozen yogurt in Yumz Express kiosks, which are opening in Illinois, Nevada, Wisconsin, Florida, Iowa, and other states in 2014.
