Zoës Kitchen, a fast-casual restaurant concept offering simple Mediterranean-inspired dishes, announced the company will be opening four new stores in the greater Philadelphia area.

The new store openings will roll out over a three-month period, with the first location slated to open in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.

“Zoës Kitchen has experienced tremendous success and growth through the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the U.S., having opened 18 new store locations in 2012,” says Kevin Miles, CEO of Zoës Kitchen. “The Philadelphia area offers the ideal market for our expansion to continue as we look to bring Zoës better-for-you Mediterranean-inspired offerings to the Northeast, while simultaneously building on our rapid rate of growth in our existing markets.”

Each of the Philadelphia area locations will offer Zoës unique mix of Mediterranean-inspired recipes and local Southern favorites hand-prepared daily with wholesome, close-to-the-garden ingredients.

The dishes feature rich fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and beans, as well as grilled poultry and fish, including Mediterranean favorites like chicken and steak kabobs, hummus, fresh salads, and soups.

The new locations will also offer Zoës Dinner for Four, Fresh Take Tubs for customers who want to grab-and-go, as well as simple, fresh catering solutions and the Simply 500 menu for those looking to eat better-for-you meals that are less than 500 calories.

Each of the locations will offer a special kids’ menu for children under 12.

Philadelphia consumers will have the opportunity to get a taste of Zoës Kitchen through opening celebration promotions on the brand’s Facebook page.

In honor of each opening, the company will give away 500 meals to fans, as well as free Zoës for a year at the new Collegeville location for one grand-prize winner.

Zoës Kitchen will be bringing fresh, new better-for-you options to those in the greater Philadelphia area in the following locations over the next three months:

  • Collegeville, opening March 7
  • Marlton, slated to open April 25
  • Newtown, slated to open May 2
  • Bryn Mawr, slated to open June 6

Zoës’ Collegeville location seats approximately 74 guests in the dining room and 38 guests on its outdoor patio.
