In addition to the 12 winners, during the giveaway period more than $75,000 worth of Häagen-Dazs products was presented to consumers through scratch-and-win cards. Prizes included money-saving coupons, free bottles of water, and free Dazzler desserts.
The promotion also included a Facebook application for users to send friends a virtual Dazzler dessert of their choice. The application promoted the scratch-and-win opportunity.
