HeroBox collects donated items and makes care packages that are shipped to deployed soldiers called “HeroBoxes.” Papa John’s is partnering with Herobox.org and is now accepting donations at the Riverside and Fairborn, Ohio, locations.
Papa John’s general manager Jason Hyman and Herobox.org coordinator Kischel Burrescia are inviting families to join them for a day of fun and support for local heroes. There will be activities for everyone, including fire, police, and military vehicles, child fingerprint IDs, and free samples of Papa John’s pizza. Joining the celebration will be the Riverside mayor and city council along with representatives from the U.S. Air Force and sheriff and fire departments.
Papa John’s will offer a special discount to everyone that attends that day. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to HeroBox.
