“We kicked off the Random Acts of Goodness in San Antonio, where Church’s was founded,” Agadi says. “Now it’s time to spread the goodwill in Atlanta, the place we’ve called home for many years.”
Since the Random Acts of Goodness began, executives from Church’s Chicken have traveled across the nation giving away thousands of cash to customers as a way to say “thank you” for the six consecutive years of growth experienced by the company.
So far, Church’s executives have personally handed out almost $20,000 to customers across the country. The brand is challenging industry peers to pay it forward in authentic gestures that resonate with the community.
“The small act of giving away $1,000 can make a big impact on someone’s life by helping them to pay rent, medical bills, loans, and other bills,” Agadi says. “Church’s Chicken has had great fortune globally, and the Random Acts of Goodness represents our way of giving back to the people in our loyal Atlanta community. With the finale of the campaign, I want to make it really special, focusing on the students of Atlanta.”
Church’s is giving clues about where the $1,000 Random Act of Goodness will occur in Atlanta on their Twitter. Church’s challenged its customers to show that they know “what good is” by uploading their random acts of goodness via tweets, video, podcast, or photos on the brand’s Twitter page. As the finale gets closer, the brand will post more detailed Twitter clues of the location, finally giving out the exact address on the hour of the giveaway.
