Sailormen, Inc., the largest domestic franchisee of Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits, is running an interesting voter awareness campaign. Any registered voter who brings in his or her voter registration card gets a free 2 piece dinner with purchase of a 3 piece dinner and medium drink at regular menu price.

The promotion began on October 4.

Sailormen owns 165 Popeyes locations in 7 Southeastern states. In addition to the free chicken deal, the restaurants are also offering "Don’t Blame Me..I voted for FREE Chicken" bumper stickers.
