Burger King Lets U.S. Troops Overseas Bite Into a Taste of Home

U.S. troops serving overseas on deployment zones this winter are enjoying a little taste of home, thanks to the Army Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) and Burger King Corporation. Burger King "Burger Buses,'' complete with broilers and condiment stations, were shipped to several staging areas for our troops to bring Whoppers to the service men and women on the front lines of the war on terrorism.

The relationship between Burger King Corporation and AAFES has spanned more than seventeen years. Today there are Burger King restaurants at more than one hundred Air Force and Army installations around the world.

"We are extremely proud of our long-standing relationship with AAFES,'' said John Dasburg, chairman, CEO and president of Burger King Corporation. "We look forward to serving our troops abroad, and we'll continue to provide these mobile kitchens to the Army and Air Force until our soldiers return home.''
