Domestically, franchise growth continues at a healthy pace. Fazoli's projects 35 new franchise units will open in its current fiscal year, and over 200 new franchise restaurants are committed for development under multi-year agreements. Fazoli's will enter the west coast in 2001 under a five-year, 15-unit development agreement for Orange County, California.
