Jim Deering, vice president, said, "Saturday was an unbelievable day and we hope to have more just like it. We think the craze is catching on and Wingstop has cornered the market on the best chicken wings made today."
Wingstop's extremely focused menu offers 8 unique and original wing flavors, including, Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian Barbeque, and Garlic Parmesan. They are always fresh and made-to-order for steaming hot, mouth-watering results.
Antonio Swad, who began his career at the age of 15, originated the concept. After studying the successes and failures of other restaurants for years, he settled on the broad appeal of chicken and the trend toward spicier fare to anchor his concept.
After only two years franchising Wingstop, there are now 19 restaurants in operation and 13 under development in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Deering explains, "Our goal is to increase Wingstop's presence in the market by building 800 to 1000 new stores. With high revenue generating periods, like the past several months, we are well on our way."
