Jake’s Wayback Burgers, with 22 open locations throughout the mid-Atlantic, announced that it will open 10 new franchises. Jake’s Wayback Burgers is rapidly expanding, with 175 newly expected franchises to be sold by 2011. Jake’s Wayback Burgers also has plans to expand internationally.
The 10 new Jake’s Wayback Burgers will be located in Mebane, North Carolina; Torrington, Connecticut; Durham, North Carolina; Meriden, Connecticut; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Brooklyn, New York; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; East Northport, New York; and Orange, Connecticut.
“Jake’s Wayback Burgers is growing very quickly,” says Bill Chemero, executive vice president of Jake’s Franchising LLC. “We are now in 12 states and 60 stores have been sold. We plan on having around 175 stores sold by this time next year and are in the process of selling a master license in the United Arab Emirates.”
Formerly Jake’s Hamburgers, Jake’s Wayback Burgers changed its brand name in August 2010.
