“Tasti D-Lite has come so far in the last 25 years and a lot has changed, but our product has remained the same delicious, lower-calorie treat that our customers love,” says Donna Smith, vice president of marketing. “We want to give back to our loyal fans by serving a small cup or cone for 25 cents. We are also launching a contest to find the biggest Tasti D-Lite fan in honor of our anniversary.”
Fans can enter to be the “Biggest Tasti Fan” on the brand's website. Video submissions and written submission (250 words or less) will be accepted. The winner will receive hotel and airfare for two to his or her choice of one of Tasti D-Lite’s flagship cities: New York; Miami Beach, Florida; or Nashville, Tennessee.
Additionally on September 7, Tasti D-Lite will release its first book, called "The Tasti D-Lite Way: Social Media Marketing Lessons for Building Loyalty and a Brand Customers Crave."
The book is authored by CEO and Chairman Jim Amos and Vice President of Technology B.J. Emerson. It offers advice on social media marketing based on Tasti D-Lite’s experience. Tasti D-Lite has been at the forefront of using social media in the quick-serve restaurant industry.
