For the first time in Freddy's history, the growing concept opened three new restaurants on the same day. Two of the sites, Bradenton, Florida, and St. George, Utah, are the first in states new to the growing concept.
The third site, in Katy, Texas, is the second for the Houston metro area and the 21st Freddy's in Texas.
"We didn't plan to open three stores in a single day, but it is an exciting milestone for us," says COO Scott Redler. "We are prepared logistically with training teams in three states today and are very appreciative of the loyal guests who continue to fuel our nationwide expansion."
The openings bring the nationwide count of Freddy's locations to 92 across 16 states. At least 18 more are scheduled to open in 2013.
"From the beginning, our focus has been on premium products and superior service," says president Bill Simon. "At Freddy's, we don't begin cooking your food until after you order it so that it is always hot and fresh.
"Our management team executes an atmosphere that feels like full-service hospitality in a quick-casual restaurant," he adds. "I think that's the reason that we've been so well received across the country in markets that vary in size and other demographics. Everyone appreciates high-quality food in clean restaurants prepared by a smiling and friendly team of staff members."
