Huddle House Brings On Ex- Corner Bakery Exec as CDO

Huddle House, the nearly 400-unit restaurant franchise known for its comfort food and value pricing, named Jonathan Benjamin as its new chief development officer.

Benjamin, a veteran sales and franchising executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience, will spearhead expanded unit growth in underserved markets and will play in integral role in improving Huddle House facilities.

Huddle House Reveals "Texas-Sized" Growth Plans

Following three consecutive years of comp sales growth and the successful launch of a new contemporary restaurant prototype, Huddle House announced plans to open 135 new restaurants throughout the Southeast and Texas over the next five years. With nearly 400 restaurants in 21 states, executives with Atlanta-based Huddle House have specifically targeted San Antonio, Waco, and Fort Worth, Texas, for development with the goal of finding the right franchise partners to operate the restaurants.

Following three consecutive years of company sales growth and the successful launch of a new contemporary restaurant prototype, Huddle House announced today it has hired Tyrone Counts as chief operating officer. Huddle House, which is re-energizing itself at age 49 with menu optimization, leadership changes, and further initiatives, is refining the brand to remain a relevant driving force in the industry for decades to come.

 

Huddle House Offers $25K to Operators Who Remodel

Huddle House is offering a $25,000 financial incentive to the first 100 franchisees who commit to a remodel by July 31, 2014.

Franchisees would use $20,000 of the incentive to offset the costs of the remodel, with the remaining $5,000 to be used for local marketing efforts.

Should Huddle House reach its goal of 100 participants, the overall company investment in the incentive program would be $2.5 million.

Huddle House Opens Up Shop in Eagle Pass, TX

Huddle House, a 24-hour family-friendly restaurant chain, opened its newest restaurant in Eagle Pass, Texas, on April 29, 2013, featuring a refreshing new interior and exterior design.

Huddle House Expands into Missouri with Multiunit Agreement

Huddle House, a 400-plus-unit family-dining restaurant, announced the opening of its first unit in Kansas City, Missouri, on Monday, December 17.

This is the first location of a three-unit Market Area Development agreement with Foodrich, LLC for the central and eastern suburbs of the Kansas City market.
