Franchiser SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza plans to open three company-owned locations in the Dallas area, its first company-owned restaurants outside its home market, between November 2014 and May 2015. Honored with numerous awards for its artisan food and business concept, SPIN! will open its first Dallas area location in Southlake, followed by Richardson, and the Las Colinas development in Irving.

SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza plans to add two company-owned locations in high-traffic, fast-growth areas in its hometown Greater Kansas City market. The 3,800 square-foot restaurants will be located downtown in Crown Center, a complex that includes Hallmark Card’s world headquarters and attracts five million visitors annually, and in the Corbin Park retail center in the Kansas suburb of Overland Park.

SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza plans to open a location in the new mixed-use student housing and retail project on the University of Central Missouri (UCM) campus to serve students, faculty, staff, and the local Warrensburg, Missouri, community. Expected to open in August 2015, the 116 W. South St. location will have more than 100 seats, a bar, and a full patio overlooking the football stadium.
SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza is opening its second Southern California location on January 21 in Los Alamitos. SPIN! also has six locations in Missouri and Kansas.
The new Los Alamitos SPIN! is being opened by SPIN!’s first franchisee, Hofman Hospitality Group (HHG), which also owns 18 Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que locations in California, Arizona, and Nevada and four Hof’s Hut restaurants in Southern California. HHG plans to open a total of 37 SPIN! restaurants in Southern California during the next five to 10 years, including a location in Huntington Beach this spring.

Veteran finance and operating executive Michael W. Kramer has joined SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza as a partner. Kramer brings financial expertise and extensive experience in both the retail and restaurant industries to the growing fast-casual concept.

SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza has completed an agreement with the Parker Hospitality Group to develop SPIN! restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is the second franchise agreement for SPIN!, whose first franchise location recently was opened in Southern California by Hofman Hospitality Group. Parker Hospitality Group is headed by restaurant operator Jeffrey P. Parker.
SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza is answering the plea for pineapple on its pizzas. Dubbed the “Pineapple Project”, SPIN! is adding roasted caramelized pineapple as a topping, a new BBQ di Pollo e Pineapple pizza to its menu, and a different pineapple pizza each week all summer in its home market. Developed with James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Smith, the BBQ di Pollo e Pineapple pizza uses two varieties of barbecue sauce to achieve its rich, tangy flavor.
