Fazoli's Franchisee to Open Six Units in Georgia

C&P Restaurant Co., a top-100 restaurant franchise group, has signed a six-unit development agreement for Georgia with premium quick-service chain Fazoli’s.

The announcement comes as Fazoli’s franchisees continue to break same-store sales records. In February, franchisees’ comp sales were up 5.5 percent, compared to the QSR segment’s average 2.2-percent increase, as reported by MillerPulse. It was the franchisees’ 23rd straight month of same-store sales increases.

Fazoli's Sees Record Sales Growth in January

Fazoli’s franchisees and company units posted a combined 13.6-percent same-store sales increase in January—more than double that of their quick-service competitors. Franchisees reported a 15.1-percent increase, with company units up 12.7 percent. According to MillerPulse research, the QSR segment as a whole grew January sales 6.1 percent.

Noodles, from Italian pasta to all-American macaroni and cheese, and from Asian wheat or rice flour versions to those used for chicken noodle soup, are on the menus at about half of American limited-service restaurants.

Fazoli’s franchisees broke more than two-dozen weekly sales records during the last three months of 2014. The premium Italian quick-service chain has had positive franchise comp sales 54 of the last 57 months, including the last 21.

During the fourth quarter, 27 new weekly franchise sales records were set, with 25 percent of franchisees reporting new records. For December, franchisees were up 12.2 percent year-over-year with a solid 10.1 percent traffic increase. Company-owned units were up 8.4 percent over 2013 on positive 6.5 percent traffic.

Fazoli's Anticipates High Holiday Sales

With the holiday shopping season about to begin, Fazoli’s will continue to provide shoppers with what CEO Carl Howard calls a “tremendous opportunity to receive a great dinning experience.” The popular Italian quick-service chain, ranked second overall among large national fast-food chains in the prestigious Zagat Survey, reported a 5.7 percent increase for October sales on the franchise side with a 2.6 percent increase reported on the company side. The entire system enjoyed positive traffic in the period.

Fazoli’s, the premium Italian quick-service restaurant, is again elevating its menu with Signature Cheddar Alfredo Bakes, three savory dishes with upscale flavors combining cavatappi pasta with a generous mix of Alfredo and Cheddar cheese sauces, shredded Cheddar, Mozzarella, and Provolone cheeses, along with diced chicken tenders, meatballs, and Italian sausage, or beef and bacon. These hearty entrees are available for a limited time at participating locations starting September 29 for $6.99.

Fazoli’s Celebrates Youth Soccer Month in September

Kids are back on the soccer fields across the country as the fall sports season kicks off.  National Youth Soccer Month, celebrated in September, was created 12 years ago to highlight the joys, rewards, and benefits of playing youth soccer. Fazoli’s is celebrating the month by offering soccer players 12 and under a free Kids Meal with adult entrée purchase when they come into the restaurant on Saturdays in September wearing their team jersey, regardless if it’s a game day or not. The offer is valid at all participating Fazoli’s restaurants.

Fazoli’s Introduces Stuffed Pasta Selects

Fazoli's, the premium Italian quick-service restaurant, expanded its menu this summer with Stuffed Pasta Selects, a collection of dishes incorporating sacchetti pasta packed with Ricotta, Mozzarella, Parmesan, and Romano cheeses.
