First Watch, the breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant, today unveiled its limited-time fall menu signifying the coming of autumn. The daytime café’s seasonal dishes—like the Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast and the new Harvest Hash—are made using ingredients like pumpkin puree and sweet potatoes while avoiding synthetic flavors, reinforcing what the restaurant was founded upon: using the finest ingredients possible for the freshest tastes around.
First Watch, the breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept, continues its expansion in Maryland with the grand opening of its newest restaurant in Gaithersburg. Located at 802 Muddy Branch Road, the new restaurant occupies an end-cap space within Muddy Branch Square, the Giant Food–anchored center. The restaurant employs approximately 25 people. First Watch has three additional Maryland restaurants in Pikesville, Rockville, and Timonium.
First Watch unveiled three new seasonal menu offerings available June 23 through August 17. These limited time dishes include: the BLT Benedict, Shrimp and Grits, and the Bruleed Banana Waffle.
BLT Benedict: Two poached eggs on toasted Ciabatta with bacon, vine-ripened tomato slices, hollandaise sauce, lemon-dressed arugula, avocado slices, and fresh herbs. Served with fresh, seasonal fruit.
First Watch, a breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept, announced plans to expand its presence in Ohio with the opening of a new restaurant in Macedonia. First Watch has six additional Cleveland restaurants, including Westlake, Rocky River, Mayfield Heights, Fairlawn, University Heights, and Solon. The Macedonia restaurant will open in spring 2015.
The breakfast and post-dinner dayparts have proved to be successful business extensions for many quick serves the last few years.
Now, some operators are testing another daypart: brunch.
Florida-based fast casual Salsa Fiesta added a brunch offering to its fresh, made-to-order Mexican menu to open the door for additional weekend sales. The brunch menu, served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekends, includes items like an enchilada omelet, gluten-free waffles, huevos rancheros, and “hangover tortilla soup,” complete with a fried egg on top.
First Watch, the breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant based in Bradenton, Florida, announced the roll out of its new “2 for You” weekday lunch special in its restaurants.
Guests choose two items from a menu of half portions of some of First Watch’s most popular lunch offerings of sandwiches, salads, or soup for just $6.89. The special is available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
First Watch, a breakfast, brunch, and lunch chain based in Bradenton, Florida, signed an area development agreement to bring five restaurants to the Milwaukee area. VMB Sunrise Hospitality Inc., operated by father and son Michael and Vincent Busalacchi, agreed to open five First Watch restaurants in the Milwaukee market over the next three to five years. The first restaurant will open in Brookfield in the first half of this year in the Brownstones Shopping Center at Bluemound and Calhoun Roads.
