Whataburger fans now have a chance to win an exclusive visit to Whataburger's test kitchen where Whataburger's new sandwich creations are invented.
The contest launches Monday, January 12. Fans will shoot a short video saying "mmmmm" after taking a bite of the new Chicken Strip Monterey Melt and share it on any social media platform with the hashtag #mmmelt.

Whataburger's popular Green Chile Double Burger is back once more for a limited time in Texas and Oklahoma. The burger, with a roasted green chile flavor, returned earlier this week to satisfy bold tastes.
The Green Chile Double Burger features two beef patties; both Monterey Jack and American cheese slices; and roasted, seasoned green chiles on a toasted bun. The chiles give the burger its flavor, but fans can kick up the spice by adding jalapeños for a few cents more.
Whataburger and H-E-B Grocery Stores announced that Whataburger's Signature Sauces are now available at H-E-B and Central Market stores. The bold flavors that are found on some of Whataburger's most popular burgers and sandwiches are now available in the condiment aisle and include Peppercorn Ranch, Creamy Pepper Sauce, Jalapeño Ranch, and Honey Mustard.
Based on its growing popularity and strong customer demand, Whataburger and H-E-B announced today Whataburger’s Honey Butter and Premium Pork Sausage are now available at H-E-B and Central Market stores in Texas.
Honey Butter, a main ingredient in the company’s Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, is a customer favorite: there have been nearly 20,000 mentions of the sauce on Twitter in 2014 alone. The company’s sausage is also featured on breakfast items from Whataburger’s Taquitos to its Breakfast on a Bun.
Whataburger’s customers can try a new spin on an old favorite with the brand’s new Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuit, available for a limited time. The new offering is a buttermilk biscuit with shredded cheddar cheese and diced jalapeños baked inside, resulting in a cheesy taste with the flavor of a jalapeño, but without the heat.
Customers can enjoy the Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuit in a number of ways: on a Biscuit Sandwich with sausage or bacon, egg, and cheese; with Biscuits & Gravy; as part of a Breakfast Platter Meal with sausage or bacon, egg, and hash browns; or á la carte.

Despite the surge of better-burger companies, consumers are not as satisfied with burger brands as they are sandwich concepts, according to a quick-service restaurant benchmark study from Empathica Inc., a Mindshare Technologies company.
San Antonio–based Whataburger awarded all media planning and buying duties to Austin’s McGarrah Jessee after a four-month search that included national and global media agencies. McGarrah Jessee has handled creative duties for Whataburger since 2003.
Whataburger announced two executive team members have been promoted to new leadership roles within the company. These individuals previously held leadership roles at Whataburger and will take on expanded duties and responsibilities in each of their respective positions.
