With store growth projected to nearly quadruple over the next decade, restaurant chain Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers added seven new career positions to help support its franchise expansion. The company currently operates 112 nationwide locations and projects to increase that number by 40 percent through the end of 2014.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers kicks off the New Year with its Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and Peanut Butter Fudge Crunch Concrete. Both returning items rank high on Freddy’s annual calendar of featured food specialties and are a hit with the quick-service restaurant’s fans.
Freddy’s features an all-new Pizza Style Steakburger for the holiday season this year. For dessert, the brand also introduced its Peppermint Mocha Concrete. Both original combinations are available at Freddy’s locations nationwide.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers announced that its 100th store opened in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on October 29 at 10:30 a.m. CDT. Two hours later, at 10:30 a.m. PDT, its 101st store opened in Westlake Village, California, a suburb of Los Angeles.

Freddy’s Great American menu has already traveled to Philly and Chi-Town and is now headed to the Southwest as it garnishes its steakburgers and all-American hot dogs with New Mexico Hatch green chile peppers.
The steakburger includes grilled onions, cheese, mustard, and Hatch peppers, all inside the classic Freddy’s butter toasted bun. A Southwestern spin on an American classic, the Hatch chile burger is a featured favorite from the Great American menu. Guests can also request the Hatch Chiles atop a Vienna Beef hot dog at Freddy’s, but only for a limited time.
Today is National Frozen Custard Day and the votes for America’s Favorite Frozen Custard Treat have been tallied. After coming in a close second last year behind the Signature Turtle Sundae, Freddy’s Chocolate Brownie Delight Concrete has earned the top spot for 2013.
It’s almost here! Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers fans across the nation are gearing up for National Frozen Custard Day; the official day each year dedicated to celebrating the taste that is Freddy’s premium frozen custard. Starting Thursday July 25, Freddy’s will pay tribute to frozen custard by asking America to vote for their favorite Freddy’s custard creation by texting “freddys” to 72727 and following the prompts.
Freddy Simon and the founders of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers traveled to Moore, Oklahoma, to present a $52,029.48 check to the Central and Western Oklahoma Red Cross.
