Fast-casual restaurant franchise Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers announced its newest limited-time dessert option, the Salted Caramel Apple Pie Concrete. The concrete is available for purchase today at participating locations and will remain on the menu until February 4.
Fresh and creamy vanilla frozen custard is blended with salted caramel and a whole slice of apple pie, crust and all. Topped with whipped cream and drizzled with salted caramel syrup, Freddy’s Salted Caramel Apple Pie Concrete is a spin on a classic American dessert favorite.
Privately held fast-casual concept Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers increased its total unit count by 30 percent (ending 2014 with 135 restaurants), made its debut in six new states, welcomed eight new franchise groups, and promoted two key corporate employees.
Freddy’s opened 31 new restaurants in 2014—three corporately owned locations in the Kansas City metro market, and 28 additional locations in various states around the U.S., including debuts in Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Minnesota, North Carolina, and South Carolina. In 2013, the company opened 21 new restaurants.

The Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich is available at participating Freddy’s locations through February 4, and the Peppermint Mocha Concrete through December 24.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers announced that its 100th store opened in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on October 29 at 10:30 a.m. CDT. Two hours later, at 10:30 a.m. PDT, its 101st store opened in Westlake Village, California, a suburb of Los Angeles.
