Chicken Salad Chick Open Sources New Flavor Ideas

Chicken Salad Chick, the new fast-casual restaurant concept, launched their first ever Pick a New Chick Flavor Contest. The contest will allow fans and employees to submit ingredients for a new chicken salad flavor via www.pickanewchick.com during the month of March. The top three flavor entries, which will be chosen by a Chicken Salad Chick judging panel, will advance to a contest voting period where consumers will be able to vote for their favorite finalist via the website.

Paula Deen Magazine Highlights Chicken Salad Chick

The latest edition of Cooking with Paula Deen magazine names Chicken Salad Chick as the top spot in the country to try chicken salad. This section entitled “Ten to Try,” features a different delicacy in each issue and highlights the magazine’s ten favorite spots to find that particular food.

Chicken Salad Chick Opens Location at Auburn University

Chicken Salad Chick is opening their new location on the campus of Auburn University. The restaurant is located in a new addition to Foy Hall and is a full restaurant with a dining room and patio. The on-campus menu will differ slightly, offering fewer varieties of chicken salad but more convenient options for on-the-go guests. Hours of operation for the restaurant are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ones To Watch: Chicken Salad Chick

At Chicken Salad Chick, ordering a chicken salad sandwich for lunch isn’t as simple as it sounds. The Alabama-based fast-casual concept offers 15 varieties, which explains how chicken salad accounts for 96 percent of the chain’s sales. The ham, turkey, roast beef, and Pimiento cheese deli sandwiches are reserved for the rare Southerner who’s not a fan of the chicken-and-mayonnaise concoction.

Chicken Salad Chick Taking Montgomery by Storm

Chicken Salad Chick is scheduled to open its second franchise location in Montgomery on April 15, 2014. The new restaurant will be located in the Sturbridge Village at 7946 Vaughn Rd.
