This year, Dutch Bros. Coffee’s February 14 Dutch Luv Day tipped the scales with 205,322 pounds of food collected — more than double last year’s total — for food banks across seven states.
Dutch Bros. Coffee
Valentine's Day is Dutch Luv Day, when 195 Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in 94 cities will be offering drink specials in exchange for minimum canned food contributions to help their local food banks fight hunger.
Since Dutch Bros. Coffee locations are locally owned and operated, specials vary by location.
The annual Dutch Luv Day effort extends company-wide and last year raised more than 100,000 pounds of canned food for friends and neighbors in need.
The totals are in, and Dutch Bros. Coffee raised more than $139K—nearly $50K more than last year—for youth organizations during its annual Buck-4-Kids event on December 7, 2012.
On Friday, December 7, all 190 Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in seven states will donate drink proceeds to youth programs selected by local owner-operators.
During the entire month of October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dutch Bros. Coffee will be selling pink "Be Aware" travel mugs and donating proceeds to breast cancer screenings for women who are uninsured or underinsured.
Mugs cost $12 and include a Dutch Bros. drink of choice.
All Dutch Bros. locations in seven states will be participating. To find a local Dutch Bros., customers can visit the brand's website.
