Taco Time NW, a Northwest-based family-owned Mexican quick serve, was awarded the 2013 Leadership in Organics Recovery Award from the Washington Organics Recycling Council. This award goes to a company or individual who has championed an Organics Recovery program that has targeted a new part of the waste stream or has increased participation.

Taco Time NW is exclusively sourcing all pinto beans from the family-owned Central Bean Co. in Quincy, Washington.
Many Taco Time favorites, like the Soft Taco, Southwest Chop Salad, Mexi-Bowl, Crisp Taco, Natural Soft Taco, and Tostado Salad, are now offered with pinto beans.
Taco Time Northwest crowned its Ultimate Fan on January 4 after an intensive five-and-a-half week competition in culmination of its 50th anniversary celebration.
Dan Podhola, from Seattle’s Crown Hill neighborhood, proved his loyalty and passion for Taco Time NW and out-earned the competition, winning a $10,000 grand prize.
The Ultimate Fan Challenge pitted families, friends, and strangers against each other to prove their devotion to Taco Time NW, earning points for answering trivia questions, uploading photos, creating videos, and completing social media challenges.
