A familiar name will be bringing more than 40 years of pizza industry experience into the take & bake pizza arena this spring.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Godfather’s Pizza is offering two “love-inspired” food options. In addition to the popular heart-shaped one-topping pizza, customers can now purchase Godfather’s Pizza’s specially-made heart-shaped Strawberry Dessert Streusel. If the consumer is feeling a little more “love me not” this year, both varieties also are available in a “broken-heart” shape as well. Participating locations will begin accepting pre-orders for the heart-shaped pizzas on February 1, 2014 via online ordering.
Godfather’s Pizza announced it is accepting franchise applications in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metropolitan areas. Franchisees of the national pizza chain are backed by research and development, technology, marketing, training, and support from corporate. Operators can learn more about the concept by meeting with Godfather’s Pizza representatives on January 28 and 29 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Godfather’s Pizza in Pekin, Illinois, will hold a grand re-opening event at its newly remodeled unit on Friday, July 19, from 4 to 8 p.m.
The first 20 guests will receive a free Godfather’s Pizza retro T-shirt. All customers will have a chance to take pictures and get autographs with the Godfather, as well as receive door prizes such as tumblers and carryout bags. There will also be a drawing for a chance to win free pizza for a year.
Albuquerque, New Mexico, will become home to the newest Godfather’s Pizza location when the company opens its new restaurant on July 15. The new Godfather’s Pizza is located at 311 98th Street NW, near Northwest 98th and I-40. This location will feature a more “lounge style” setting and include chili-based menu offerings exclusive to the area, such as the Chicken Green Chili Classic Pizza and Jalapeño Breadsticks with Cheese.
This will be the first of many locations franchise owner Laura Olguin expects to open in the greater Albuquerque area.
Godfather’s Pizza has launched a photo-sharing campaign in which their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram followers are encouraged to submit photos for a chance to win a limited-edition shirt and a personal phone call from the company’s official spokesperson, The Godfather.
Godfather’s Pizza will open a location in Albuquerque this July, according to franchise owner Laura Olguin. The restaurant will be located off of Northwest 98th and I-40, next to the Jack in the Box location Olguin also owns.
“This was a logical step for Godfather’s Pizza as they look to expand in areas situated in the Southwest region of the U.S. It was just a matter of time, and I’m excited I can be a part of it,” she says.
Godfather’s Pizza Inc. announces Derek Hernandez has been named digital media and public relations manager. Hernandez will develop social and digital media strategies for both corporate and franchised locations as well as manage public relations activities and web site content.
