New D-Lite Menu Paying Off For Captain D's

Captain D’s rang in the New Year reminding customers of the fast-casual restaurant’s healthy options. The Nashville, Tennessee-based seafood chain has seen more than a 25% increase in grilled menu item sales compared with last January. They announced the launch of their “D-Lite Meals” menu featuring five meals under 500 calories at the beginning of the month.

Sun Capital Partners Inc., a private investment firm specializing in leveraged buyouts and investments in market-leading companies, announced that an affiliate has completed the sale of Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant, a seafood quick-service concept. The business was acquired by Centre Partners, and terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

Sun Capital Partners Inc., a private investment firm specializing in leveraged buyouts and investments in market-leading companies, announced that an affiliate has signed an agreement to sell its investment in Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant, a seafood quick service restaurant, to Centre Partners, a middle market private equity firm. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
