Charley’s Introduces Chipotle Chicken Sandwich

Charley’s Grilled Subs is getting ready to introduce a Jalapeño Bacon Chipotle Chicken Sandwich nationwide on May 21, 2012.

The Chipotle Chicken Sandwich is hot, fresh, and made-to-order with sizzling chicken, all natural provolone cheese, and sautéed onions. The sandwich is layered with Ancho chipotle sauce and topped off with mouth-watering jalapeño bacon strips that are sure to fire up taste buds and consumer palates all over the nation.

Moreover, while supplies last, Charley’s is offering three additional strips of jalapeño or regular bacon on any sandwich for just $1.

Charley’s Grilled Subs Beefs Up Presence in Dubai

Charley’s Grilled Subs, the 454-unit Philly Steak restaurant chain, has grown to 15 restaurants in the United Arab Emirates. The most recent opened Jan. 19 at the Dubai International Airport in Terminal 1.

Prominent businessman Mohammad Al Madani, chairman and CEO of Al Madani Group of Companies (AMG), is leading the Dubai expansion. In addition to overseeing the development in the UAE, the group this month also signed a partnership agreement with Charley’s for exclusive master franchising of the sandwich chain for Saudi Arabia and Oman.

Bringing American Brands to the Middle East

Mohammad Al Madani is a worldly man. After graduating from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Madani went home to Dubai and launched an engineering consultancy firm, Apex International Engineering Consulting. Since then, Madani has become a prominent businessman in Dubai by building an impressive franchise portfolio that holds more than 10 companies, including Levi’s, Hang Ten, Dockers, and Charley’s Grilled Subs.

Charley’s Grilled Subs Promotes Wright to President

Charley’s Grilled Subs, the international Philly Cheesesteak sandwich franchise, has promoted Bob Wright to president and chief operating officer to help guide the brand into the future.

Bob Wright was named COO for Charley’s Grilled Subs in 2010. Since joining the company, Wright has been responsible for company and franchise operations, purchasing, training, and marketing. As President, Wright will now assume the responsibilities for HR, IT, and business analytics.
