Chicago’s Community Kitchens is a 14-week program for unemployed and underemployed adults that prepares students for a productive career in foodservice. This graduate, Jason Piper, interned at Chef Mindy Segal’s Hot Chocolate and was hired there. For more on the bakery and dessert bar, check out the May issue of FSR.
