The brand was named “Best Franchise Deal” by QSR magazine and was named one of Fast Casual’s top “Movers and Shakers” four years straight. A subsidiary of Rave Restaurant Group Inc., Pie Five is a young brand that operates with the expertise of the almost 60 years of pizza experience of its sister chain, Pizza Inn. Pie Five recently opened its 100th location and continues to expand across the country.
CEO Scott Crane joined the company in January and brought big plans for Pie Five. Crane, who has worked in the restaurant industry since he was a dishwasher at the age of 15, most recently served as CEO of Smashburger. During his tenure, that brand grew from a two-unit startup to the international company it is today with more than 330 locations in 35 states and seven countries. He plans to bring that same momentum to both Rave brands.

This year Pie Five is launching new products, technology, and services. The company just introduced the first fast-casual pizza drive thru in Yukon, Oklahoma, and has partnered with Olo to introduce an online ordering platform that fully integrates Olo’s Dispatch delivery service and Pie Five’s Circle of Crust loyalty program in a smartphone app.

Though the brand already offers four distinct crusts, seven sauces, and more than 40 toppings, Pie Five recently expanded menu offerings with Breadstix and plans to introduce Cinnamon Stix to its dessert menu.
