If the description of ingredients in the new sandwich from Pal’s Sudden Service makes your mouth water, it’s understandable.
The new Pal’s Patty Melt includes two beef patties, a premium slice of American cheese, pickles, a proprietary dressing, and crispy onion crumbles inside a burger bun turned inside out and toasted. “We are proud of our new sandwich that is a unique twist to our signature burgers,” says Thom Crosby, Pal’s president and CEO. “Our job is to delight our customers, and the Patty Melt is just the most recent example of how we can do that.”
The advertising campaign that supports the introduction of the new sandwich includes a television commercial that features the Patty Melt song—a nod to the children’s “Patty Cake” song.
