Leading fast-casual chain Verts Mediterranean Grill will celebrate the grand opening of its 33rd restaurant in Irving on Saturday, May 21.

To celebrate the launch of the Irving, Texas, restaurant, 8445 North Belt Line Road, Ste. 100, Verts will give away one free, full-size entrée per guest from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The first 200 guests will receive complimentary swag bags that will include Verts shirts, recipes, coupons, and other goodies. Guests will have a chance to participate in social media contests held throughout the day.

“We’re excited to continue our expansion with the opening of our 33rd location and extend our chef-driven menu to the Irving community,” says Verts cofounder and CEO Michael Heyne. “From flavorful pitas and wraps to salads and rice bowls, Verts will offer the area residents tasty, healthy options made fresh from scratch daily.”

As part of its commitment to serve the communities in which it operates, Verts will donate 100 percent of sales on Saturday to Metrocrest Services, a nonprofit program that assists families, individuals and senior adults who are coping with crisis situations and need help stabilizing their lives, or who require support to live independently. Guests who purchase sides, drinks or additional entrées throughout the day will be happy to know that their money is going to a worthy cause in the Irving community.

Verts Irving is the 33rd location for the restaurant brand in Texas. Verts will open its first out-of-state location this summer when it launches on the East Coast. Overall, the fast-casual Mediterranean chain plans to have 45 restaurants by end of 2016.
