GPS Hospitality, a rapidly growing Burger King and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen franchisee, has been recognized as a fourth-place honoree at the 2016 Georgia Fast 40 awards by the Atlanta chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). This is the second consecutive year that the franchisee has been named to this prestigious list of high-performing Georgia companies in the “Upper-Middle Market” category, which were selected for their strong revenue and employment growth, as well as their ongoing contributions to the local business community.

GPS Hospitality’s goal-focused, talent-oriented approach to franchise management has played an integral role in the company’s ongoing success, which continues to receive local accolades. Earlier this year, the franchisee was recognized as Atlanta’s #1 fastest growing private company during the Atlanta Business Chronicle Pacesetter Awards.

“Within the last year, GPS Hospitality has nearly doubled our number of restaurants and successfully expanded into a new franchise brand, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our tremendous team,” says Tom Garrett, CEO and founder. “Being ranked among Georgia’s fastest-growing companies for the second year in a row is truly an honor, and I’m thrilled to share this award with the entire team at GPS Hospitality.”

Each year, ACG Atlanta honors Georgia-based middle market companies that demonstrate the greatest growth in revenue and employees over the prior three years. To be eligible for the Georgia Fast 40, companies must be headquartered in Georgia, be for-profit, have the most recent year-end revenues ranging from $15 million to $500 million, and be able to demonstrate three years of sustained revenue and employment growth.

“The companies being honored this year exemplify ACG’s focus on driving middle-market growth and demonstrate the strength and significance of this sector in Georgia,” says Denise Boyd, ACG Atlanta chapter president.
