On the heels of confirming its first Washington, D.C. location, Wahlburgers, founded by executive chef Paul Wahlberg and brothers Mark and Donnie, has announced that it will open a restaurant at Ballston Point in Arlington, Virginia. A lease has been signed for 6,600 square feet of retail space adjacent to the Ballston Common shopping mall on the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and Glebe Road. Monument Realty’s Roger Carlson represented the owner and Lance Marine with CBRE represented Wahlburgers.

Slated to open in early 2017, Wahlburgers will deliver a dining experience built on the Wahlberg family values of heartfelt hospitality and fun, while offering a chef-inspired menu that highlights creative burgers, sandwiches, and sides made with quality ingredients. The restaurant will feature both a fast-casual counter and full-service dining room with an expansive bar and outdoor patio. A retail section will showcase branded Wahlburgers T-shirts, hats, drinkware, and more.

“We are committed to bringing Wahlburgers to the metro D.C. area and look forward to opening our doors in both Arlington and Dupont Circle in coming months,” says Maurizio Marfoglia, president and COO of WBDC Hospitality LLC. “Now with two locations secured, we are excited to continue further expansion in the market.”

“We are thrilled that Wahlburgers has invested in the Ballston neighborhood and has chosen our building, Ballston Point, to do so,” says Michael Darby, principal of Monument Realty. “The renaissance that is happening in Ballston right now is so exciting, and Wahlburgers is a perfect fit for the area and our building.”
