Firenza Pizza, a fast-casual chain that offers custom, made-to-order pizzas, has signed a deal to begin development in the greater Houston area. This marks the first Firenza to enter Houston’s restaurant scene, with company plans for having as many as 20 area locations over the next several years.

“I am thrilled to get back into an industry I know and love, and bring a fresh take on Houston’s burgeoning fast-casual presence,” says Scott Moore, who signed the development deal. “Firenza simply offers today’s demanding customers what they crave: originality, speed of service, customization, and premium products in a sophisticated and highly welcoming environment.”

Since offering the franchise opportunity in September 2015, Firenza has signed agreements totaling to more than 45 restaurants in various stages of development in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, Texas, Wisconsin, and California.

“We are excited to welcome Scott to the family, and bring the first Firenza store to the Houston area,” says Dave Wood, co-founder and CEO of Firenza. “We are confident that he will make a bold statement in this dynamic and thriving market.”

Touting “Pizza Like Never Before,” Firenza offers fresh-baked pizzas with unlimited toppings for one price.

The pizza dough is made in-house daily and hand-stretched to order. The nearly 40 toppings include six signature sauces, seven cheeses, nine meats, and 17 veggies. Firenza also offers eight chef-inspired signature pizzas.
